Moving Right Along!

So we have accomplished a very big step towards creating our podcast! After a lot of research and contemplation (of course with prayer), we have come up with the name and the overall structure of our podcast!

It is...

We are so ecstatic that this part of the process is done! "Fruit from The Garden" is going to be published first on anchor.fm once it is completed.

To give an idea of the work that goes into the development and preparation of a podcast, it is similar to if you are trying to plan any creative work for an audience (or even a Sunday Service).

You have to figure out:

  • Who your audience is going to be

  • What the topic is

  • The layout of your show

  • The name and theme

  • Who is going to be speaking.

  • How are you going to record

  • And most importantly:

HOW DO YOU RUN THIS DANG THING!?

Even though this is COMPLETELY out of context, I am going to say it anyways:

Jesus even mentioned how a building will crumble without a sturdy foundation. To just hit the record button without developing the basics of your content is going to cause the project to crumble and ultimately fail. God grows our ministries, yes, but if non-Christian podcasts and videos can publish high-quality content for their gods, then why should we rush and give a poor quality for the God-Almighty?

If you are encouraged to do something for God and for His Kingdom, do the best you can and pray that God will equip you for what you need. When the Tabernacle was being built, God wanted the best to be created because it was for His Spirit. He equipped people for the job so that it could be the best work possible.

"Then the Lord said to Moses, 'See, I have chosen Bezalelson of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts. Moreover, I have appointed Oholiabson of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, to help him. Also I have given ability to all the skilled workers to make everything I have commanded you.' " (Exodus 31:1-6).

If the work that you do is for God, then it should be like the Tabernacle; Holy and beautiful.
